Ace McCarron was lighting designer for two previous SEMC productions, The Feast of the Pheasant and La Vita Humana. He also works regularly for Music Theatre Wales, for whom he is shortly to light Ubu by Andrew Toovey. He was responsible for lighting Biko, the first full-length commission for the Royal Opera House Garden Venture, Anna Karenina for Shared Experience Theatre Company, Down and Out in Paris and London for Paines Plough, Victory for the Wrestling School, and The Soldier's Tale for the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. Forthcoming work includes Ariadne auf Naxos for Jonathan Miller at the David Salomon Theatre, and The Europeans for the Wrestling School. Ace is also lighting consultant to Issey Miyake (UK) Ltd.
