Geraint Hylton began singing as a treble with the Welsh National Opera Company in their productions of La Bohème and Billy Budd, and has worked mostly in opera ever since. He has sung Tamino in Mozart's The Magic Flute and Florville in Rossini's Signor Bruschino, and earlier this year played the title role in Geoffrey Bush's contemporary opera Lord Arthur Saville's Crime. He has made many recordings with the Ambrosian Opera Chorus with whom he recently took part in the Tosca production at Earl's Court. He appears regularly on the BBC's Friday Night is Music Night. Future plans include a European tour with the contemporary jazz vocal group Voices from Somewhere. ![]() |
