Alan Caig has an M.A. in Psychology from St Andrews; he trained at Welsh College of Music and Drama and the Ecole Lecoq in Paris, and acting credits include the Royal Lyceum, Edinburgh, Dundee Rep, Northumberland Theatre, Borders Festival and Yorkshire Actors. He has taught and directed in Innsbruck, Austria for the last seven years, most recently directing Cocteau's The Human Voice at the Kellertheater. In Scotland his direction of How to Kill and The Trouble with the Dead for Speakeasy Theatre won a Fringe First and an Evening News Capital award respectively. At the Borders Festival he co-directed and performed in Maister Michael at Aikwood Tower. ![]() |
