Tim Northam was educated at Bristol Grammar School and Downing College, Cambridge. After studying in Barcelona he returned to Britain to take a design course at Riverside Theatre. He studied theatre design with Margaret Harris in London and has worked for Harrow Opera Workshop, South London Opera, Arts Theatre Cambridge, Latchemere Theatre London and Bristol Opera Company. He assisted in productions of Parsifal at The Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Count Ory at Kent Opera, and King Lear at the Old Vic. He has worked with designers such as Hayden Griffin, Richard Hudson, Liz Da Costa, Maria Björnson, Tim O'Brien and Tom Cairns. This is first production in Scotland. Tim has many and varied interest including yacht delivery. ![]() |
